If you were friends with a nominee actor and they invited you to one of the many parties in Hollywood who would you be nervous and excited to meet? Me first. First if I met Morgan Freeman I think my knees might buckle. I just adore him. I have such a crush on him. Even Clint Eastwood. I would be nervous to meet Jeremy I don't think I would like to meet him in that kind of setting I would probably trip and fall. I have met him once last year and I felt like an idiot. I would love to meet Ashley Judd. I think she is just wonderful. I like Penelope Cruz to.
I think Morgan Freeman and Jeremy would be so great in a western together or really anything. I so hope to see them in a movie together two great minds on the same screen man that would really be something. C

I would have to pack smelling salts, breath mints, perfume and handkerchief. If I was invited and attending something like that.
I would be on cloud nine, nervous and shaky..but most of all be very excited. Any one of them it would be thrilling. I really can't name names it is hard to pick .even meeting someone like Steve Martin would exciting. I do have my faves but everyone one of them.
Only thing I would be worried about that I may make a butt of myself. Plus I stutter when I get very nervous.
C- You met Jeremy?!?!?! Time to spill it.

Hey Mellie Yes I met him last year at the AFI Dallas International film festival. He is so polite and nice he shook my hand he has the softest hands I was working the festival and knew he was a guest because 2 of his films were showing there. I worked the festival to see what it was all about. I was able to walk up to him and intorduce myself .. He talked to me for just a few seconds and then went to eat dinner but came back for the Qand A sessions. right before he left he asked me if I was going to be around after he got back and I said yes I was so hoping to get to chat with him some more but he got pretty surrouned by AFI people and fans pretty quickly. He did give me a little wave before he left though so it was nice that he looked my way again. But I was staring at him like a blind man who just got his site back. (I am such a goofball) He went to the After party I was invited but I was so tired from working all the films and staying so late all the time and much more I was exhausted. I am just not a late night party person at all. I just don't know how he does it. Up late and partying after a long day of flights and work. I am such a wimp. I just had no desire to go. Was to tired to think about it. But don't think I would have been able to chat with him anyway he was a popular person that night. I also met Kathyrn she is very shy and I met Mark Boal they stood infront of me before they were escorted up to the theater. Kathryn maybe shy but she has such a wonderful powerful presence. I would love to see her in action. That is my lil story not much but I got to meet one of my favorite people and that is something right? I think so at least. Let me just say you can tell Jeremy is just a regular down to earth man from the get go. I think that is what I like about him most. I think he would be happy just about anywhere as long as he is creating or doing something creative and productive. That is what really fuels his soul. C

I am afraid to meet anyone famous because what if they're total asses? I don't like the idea of my idols being completely ass-ish.. itll change my whole outlook of them.. But I would just like to meet Jeremy Renner of course, Emile Hirsch, Clint Eastwood.

I think, actually, I know I would be first terrified and then speechless. My nightmare scenario, I would make a fool of myself and for both our sakes he'd swiftly move on to speak with someone else. With a bit of luck I would faint, hit my head and don't remember anything afterwards. lol.not
And I totally agree with Classy, I would be worried to be dissapointed if I got a chance to meet him. Years ago I met Damon Albarn from Blur (English band) and he was such a total idiot, full of himself. I stop buying their albums and even today if I heard something from them makes me kind of sick But then other people, like Denzel Washington, are lovely. Saw a play he was in and he stay afterwards to sign autographs for every single fan that queued outside. Needless to say I didn't open my mouth and maybe I wispered 'thank you', or something, I'm not sure, can't remember!
So you have 2 sides of the coin, and I have a feeling Jeremy falls in the 'Denzel side', very gentleman-like and he has an appreciation for women, and no ego, very hardworking. And that Oscar nomination is just the start...

Maybe it's my job ( I'm a nurse ) so I see people living, I see them sick and vulnerable at their worst and I see them die. We're all human so I don't think I'd really care if I met an actor, someone who created a cure for cancer would be higher up in my opinion.
I admit I do have a crush on Jeremy though so would probably do something stupid, but I'm like that with any guy I really like lol.

LOL Yeah I would probably be shy or quite the opposite. Sometimes when i get nervous I kind of babble or act awkward. Man If I met someone like Bono I think I would act like some dork or idiot. But I would hope to be more shy then make some crazy person impression. LOL Jeremy probably be more shy but Bono and idiot. LOL lame

Nice to see I'm not alone , I was just at my daughters friends place and there's something about her uncle that reminds me so much of Jeremy. I've got past the act funny phase with him, now I just want to jump on him lol.

I met David Boreanez when I was 16. I've met Arnold, too. A friend of mine just sang for him, Maria, and James Cameron in Sac.
Personally, Jer is a given, but after him, I think I'd keel over if I got to meet Liam Neeson, Ralph Feinnes, DiCaprio, or Paul Bettany. Def. *nod nod*

Well, Jeremy is indeed number one for me in terms of a celebrity I would like to meet AND who I think would be nice, polite, and down to earth. My other "celebrity boyfriend" is Paul Rudd, so yeah, I'd say I'd like to meet him too.
MirAngel, are you a Ralph Fiennes fan? He's been at the top of my list for years, and I'm a loyal gal but now I feel like he's kind of hit a wall. I fell hard for him when I saw him in Schindler's List (me, the Jewish girl, having a mad crush on the sadistic nazi character......paging Dr. Freud please) but Jeremy knocked him off my list a year ago. Woo hoo!
