Ok I finally got a chance to see Assasination of Jesse James.
That film looked really difficult to make. I bet just dealing with the outdoor elements were really tough. And mastering the language and the dialects. and the speech must have been really something. I am amazed at it all.
And of course Jeremy did a fantastic job. He has proven once again he is multi talented. He can do anything. Good for him. His laugh is contageous. He just makes you smile when he smiles on the film. And when he gets mad in the film man does he really look pissed.
Now I know that Wood Hite had to die in the film but I was very disappoined he did not have more lines in the film.
But d**n he had to die and get dropped butt naked in a hole in the middle of winter. Now that had to have been so cold. Poor guy. But he played dead very well.
I bet being on the set was a great expierence. I can just imagine all they got to do. He makes it all look so effortless. His abilities to take on the character was amazing. So flawless. No wonder they picked him for the role of Wood Hite. Good Job Jeremy you brought Wood Hite to life in the film, what a talented person you are. maybe you can always keep a little of him with you. I liked him. C

*I mention a couple of spoilers from the movie, nothing major but if ya haven't seen the film yet watch out=)*I have to agree Cindy. I read the book in High School and I was totally astounded on how well the movie followed the book. Some parts were left out here and there of course but they very few. I found the story very poignant when reading the book back then and when I was able to see the film I was so enthralled by it. I was completely engrossed by the look of the film, it was just breathtakingly beautiful. The music was very enchanting, it had this melancholy tone to it that added so much to the telling of the story. The train scene was amazing, the lighting, the music, the acting by all the actors was great, everything came together to produce one of the most beautiful scenes I have seen in my generation of film in years. (In my opinion of course ) For such a small part Jeremy was awesome of course. Loved the scene of Wood getting in Bob's face. Jeremy dominated that scene, he just rocked it. I wished they had more of Wood and D*ck Liddle visiting Wood's family. Wood in the book actually puts a gun to D*ck's head while he's sleeping for partaking in some extra cirricular activies with his step-mother in the out house. They even have a duel in the front yard, both missing each other numerous times. They finally stop when Wood's father get mad at the both of them for waking him so early. That would have been such a fun scene to see. Sam Rockwell really shined in this film, more so than Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck in my opinion. I love the part where Brad Pitt takes the knife to Bob's throat and then laughs insanely at the fact that he scared both Bob and Charley. Oh just the look on Charley's face and the tears on his face was brilliant, he look absolutely terrified. It was an amazing film, it was totally worth the hour drive to go see it. I really didn't think with all the negative criticism with the movie being too long that the studio was going to release it to DVD so soon after it hit theaters. I haven't been able to rent the DVD or buy it for that matter but I did read somewhere that is has like zero special features. That's a drag, I would love to see a "making of" featurette for that film.

It was indeed quite a master piece ^^...Very beautiful film..Very much artistic and smart...I watched it again for the second time the other day with my parents...It grows on me more and more everytime i watch it...Its epic...the frames and cinematography is just fantastic and beautiful to watch ^^...Astounding acting through out the movie as well..Was the first time i had seen a performance by Casey Affleck and will definutly not be the last...he was excellent... Though he had very few lines..Jeremy yet again gave a class A performance..Becoming Hite..and telling his side of the story perfectly...I do agree he should have had more lines T^T..He played a fasinating character i would have like to know more about..But Jeremy basically does that in every performance he does..Leaves the viewer wanting more...Such amazing skill in his art ^^.... And agreed the scoring for the movie was incredible and fit perfecting with the film...I remember one piece of music in particular that was just ever so emotional and wonderful...think i will have to put it on a cd or something for myself to listen to over and over ^^...And i was happy to see Jeremy singing again..He's very diverse..which is why i cant wait and im so very muchly looking forward to an album from him T^T XD
Hahah Yeah he definutly put Ford in his place in that scene XD...And I cought the part where he said he was gonna put a bullet in Hite's head..and sure enough he did T..T....Though that gun slingin scene was my fav though..Hite busted in there with no fear just'a blaze'in XD i loved it.. Hite had every right to be pissed at Liddle >..< The outcome of it frustrated me T..T and to see them throw him away like that so casually was dispicable T..T was hopin Jesse would have gotten a little revenge XD But i felt compassion for both Jesse and Ford's side when it was all said and done...Very tragic story..
That negative crit. is prolly coming from the idiots who want every little thing spelled out for them so they can understand it...They grade some of these rediculous and mindless movies among some of the best its really irritating such art gets dismissed cause they wont take the time to understand it....My parents said they liked it but wished there more action and i believe they were a bit bored at times how the were figiting XD...A bit more action would have been fine but the movie in my opinion was brilliant the way it was...A dramatic, artistic, theoretical story teller..and again its not boring to those who sit there and who actually want to understand it...XD All in all it was a fantastic film ^^
And yeah my DVD has no special features T..T i was so bumbed..it would have been great to see behind the scenes and have actor interviews on what they went through, through the making of it *sigh* Thats like one of my fav things about dvds..the features

And i was happy to see Jeremy singing again..He's very diverse..which is why i cant wait and im so very muchly looking forward to an album from him T^T XD I can't believe that I totally forgot that! Well the story takes place after Jesse James long run as an outlaw and he is trying to have a "normal life" but he still struggles with wanting to take on the next big robbery. So there wouldn't be too much action. But I agree with you I think it was brilliant just the way it was.
